Title: Headers for A 87 aniv
Post by: Naughty Kitty on March 24, 2007, 07:22:40 PM
Hey Guys,

I have question about exhaust manifolds. I have a 87 aniv with 5.0. I am going to put GT40 Heads Y303's on it. What header or exhaust manifold should I use. It is a colum shift automatic. I read some of the tech reviews and they said mustang 1 5/8 unequal length. I don't know who makes them. Any Ideas Thanks Again.

I use BBK unequal length shorties.Awesome headres, great fit,and easy to install.I can remove them and re-install them in about 20 minutes.I don't have a/c or smog equipment though.

I second that. The only place you might have a problem is the crossover bar for the linkage.Which all you do is ream the mounting hole some to get the clearence you need no big deal.
