Title: brand new headlights
Post by: Autocat on March 14, 2007, 03:31:20 PM
ok well i had the lense of my right front headlight fly off.  luckily the car hasnt seen rain since that happend.  anyway i was looking on ebay and the popular price is between 130 and 160.  how much are they from ford? cheaper, more expensive?  i think the ones on ebay are glass lenses, but i would almost bet the oem ford replacement is plastic which will fog up and what not all the nightmares.  anyone gotten the ford replacement or the ones on ebay?  anything i need to look out for if i end up buying them off ebay?

Not sure if these are the #s you are after but here it goes, E7SZ-13007A and E7SZ-13007B. From what I was told these are the headlights without the brackets but my local Ford dealer says he cant get them. I live out past the middle of no where so if anyone does know a dealer with them drop a note please. From what I was told they would be plastic just like original just without the 20 years of sun and debris on them.

I asked while at the dealer. The parts man said he could get a left lens, but not a right lens. The entire headlight assembly wasn't available.

I ordered new headlight assemblines from Headlight Warehouse (http://"http://www.headlightwarehouse.com/shop/shopping/?id=549"). They look pretty good. ~$170 w/shipping.

Oh my! I just looked and they've added the outer corner lamp to their inventory. Mine are quite faded. Yah. :D
