im 99% sure my car has all but two options--coolcats says there were options for a 3.27 or 3.08 cant friggin remember trac-loc, and an engine block heater. now im assuming id see a 120v plug hanging out the front bumper cover vents or something like that? im just curious, so if anyone has it could they post a pic? id just like to see what it looks like. its it a "freeze plug heater" or a lower radiator hose one? just wonderin, and want to make sure mine didnt have it and then someone removed it. yup, you see where im goin this is for Aerobird's thread.
as for the axle gotta check, looked like 6 months ago, thought i saw an "M" for axle code but i dont know if i got an open one or not. better go do a burnout, post it on streetfire, and see if i get all kinds of insults for doing a pegleg burnout. :hick: :giggle:. THEN and only then will i know if i have a trac-lok. then i can bitch and moan *wink wink nudge nudge* (couldnt resist)
no honestly i couldnt give a as long as theres smoke.
Oooooh! :hick:
ZondaC12,
If your car still has the tag on the rear, it will have 2 LS73. This means 2.73 gears with trac-lok. I can't help with the engine block heater. My car does not have this. I'm not sure how to tell if it did.
My '87 Sport and '88 Cougar both had the block heater. They were indeed the freeze-plug type, and there was a 3-wire 110V plug with plastic loom protecting it.
oh neat i figured it was just the 20th's.
ill have to crawl underneath and take a look at the tag.
