Check ebay or do a google search for key fobs or something similar. I did this after we purchased our explorer because we did get any remotes with it. There is a place (do remember the name) that sells the geuine Ford remotes.

Ive got a couple new ones I bought and never used, I will check and see if they are the same.  You can program them yourself.

I can't speak about keyfobs but I've programmed enough home remotes to realize that although the self program functions might be easier or more accurate, I  question accurate, but doing it manually is by far faster! It might take a little practice to get the process down. Push button 15 sec look closely remote blinks then go to next instruction step. Mess up, remove battery, start over. It's a process.
