Title: Do steering columns from Fox Stangs Interchange?

From what I can remember everything looks the same but I'm giving a friend my steering column from darkthunder and I want to make sure they are somewhat interchangeable. I'm sure there are some minor differences, besides cosmetics.

I can say with about 90% certainty that they will exchange.  I took the one out of my old Cougar and bolted it into my Fox chassis LTD with no issues.

I used a fox mustang column (do know what year exactly) in mine when I did the  5 speed conversion. I used all my switches and things.
