Some of you guys asked for pics of my "cut out" front bumper after I got it installed. Well, here ya are.
Oh, and as you may notice, I mounted some 100W 3 1/4" round driving lights in the middle, which are hooked into my high beams via a relay.

Loookin Good :D
Not to shabby.
Nice work.Lookin' Good. That's what I like, tasteful, and not "overdone".Where did you get the support bar under the hood?
nice work. I like it.
Cool:D
Yep ether947 had it right, it's a MM strut tower brace. Pricey, but the stoutest strut tower brace I've ever seen!
Looks nice i like it i would have put the lights behind the grill probibly.
If you mean behind the mesh...um...they are?
Upon closer inspection, they look a tiny bit low.Can you please raise them half an inch?Just report back to me when you've accomplished the assigned task I've given you,and I'll sign off on it.Thanks.
Ha. No. Doing that would require a lot of effort.
Actually, the package for the lights said they're supposed to be at least 16" off the ground...I think they're about 13" off the ground as they sit now :dunno:
Looks nice :D
Alright then, you've left me no choice but to accept it and forgive you.LOL.
very professional looking
I actually did raise them about a half inch from where they originally were...because when I installed the bumper cover the lights were pushed against the bottom. Now they just barely clear it and I have a little room to adjust them, so it works.
Driving lights rock. Best lighting upgrade over stock fog lights. I wonder if my Hella FF75's could support higher wattage bulbs. Theyre 55W.
Yeah the stock fog lights suck IMO, I had mine wired for the 100W bulbs and they still didn't throw any useable amount of light.
BTW if the lights you have are aftermarket I'm sure they could run 100W bulbs. As-purchased, these ones I had came with 55W "super white" bulbs (which I hate). I found the "yellow" (actually dichroic) ones that are in there now on ebay, bought them assuming that they were 55W but they turned out to be 100W. I didn't change anything with the wiring, the 100W bulbs have the same size power wire running to them as the 55's. I have em running through a relay anyway so I wasn't too worried about it.
that looks pretty freakin' sweet.
way too COOOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
