Title: need help to know it a rear end will fit?

can a 94 t-bird rear end fit in a 88 t-bird?:birdsmily:

well since the 89 and up had an independent rear suspension I'd say no unless you wanted to do alot of modifications...  talk to gumby I think he has done it.

No...he put a Cobra IRS in his TBird.  He put the MN-12 IRS in his Ranger he had.

A few years ago I saw a fox Bird in MM&FF magazine that had an MN12 rear suspension. The article said it was a real bitch to install, and basically involved back-halving the car to create custom suspension/subframe mounting points. Probably why you don't see many Foxes with MN12 IRS setups (shame they won't fit, it'd be nice if an MN12 was good for something :evilgrin:)

That same T-Bird, BTW, had 87-88 doors on an 83-86 body. It looked like poo.
