Could all these parts that have been going for crazy prices lately be a sign that people are finally starting to appreciate and restore these cars?

Kitzdnm, if you need a console plate, Aerobird Motorsports sells decals that make 'em good as new

There are a lot of Turbo Coupe owners that are beginning to restore their vehicles, so parts like that can go for big bucks. You think that's bad? I've seen NOS switch panel plates (just the aluminum part) go for $150 or more.

The sad reality is, even though a significant amount of Turbo Coupes were produced, there aren't very many good parts left from the wrecked ones. So something like that becomes gold.

The savvy will dump their excess parts right after auctions like that... ;)

Too bad I sell new decals for a measly $40 :P

I've seen the panels get high prices for being unbroken, especially in the the console lid and ashtray area. And I've been saying it for years, these cars are going UP, get yours now before your priced out.

This time, it is NOT me bidding! :D

Just a couple years ago, I mistakenly bought a NOS switch panel off ebay- one for dual pwoer seats, mirror, and windows...for $15.00. I say mistakenly because I did not realise it was one shaped for a console. I have the consolete, and at the time I had not ever noticed they are slightly different shapes. If I remember correctly, I decided to just give it away to someone, ;)  kinda as a "Thank you" gift...
