Still have to finish it, but at least you can see what it will look like when it is finished.

Is it rare for those cars to rust like that? I don't think I've ever seen one do that!

Not when they are winter driven, without undercoating, and have over 300K kms on them.  :(

DW: It's not the first one like that i've seen around here. I tell ya in winter here in Canada they lay down a LOT more salt then they really need to.

BTW.. RJ that cowl looks nice man! congrats.

My old '91 rotted like that, too. The rockers and door bottoms were completely gone. I started to fix it, lost interest (having bought an '87 Sport 5.0) and sold it.

The early MN12's seem bad for that. Of all the foxes I've owned, even the very rusty 87 sport, none were as bad as that '91, and they were all at least three years older!

Very nice hood, 1wldbrd. I'd give it a :ies: :ies: :ies: :ies:  out of :ies: :ies: :ies: :ies: :ies:
With paint it'd get the extra :ies:

If i lived closer I'd pay you to make me one for my '88

I hear ya, morons put down salt Sunday just because it was snowing! It just turned out to be a light dusting! Now we have salt on the road just sitting there!

grrrrrrrrrr, have you drove over hard salt on a dry roadway? chips the paint!  :brick:
