I seen a gold one at the yard some rare stuff on it,goin there tommorrow. Not for that ,unless someone whats to speak up.
All 20th anniversaries were Burgundy, I thought.
I vve no clue,I's there it look gold copper .brown..I could care less it was still ugly to me.To each's own!!
you sure its a 20th? though it certainly could have been repainted. but then...why? Meduim Cabernet Red is just gorgeous!
It had the emblems on that said it was.It wasn't neer as nice as yours.
Grab all the stuff off it if it's wreaked/totaled. If not try to snag some pics. I'm sure we'll eventualy find someone that will need it
I won't be goin there today.Got to work more snow coming, yea
if you do eventually go get some pics anyway. id like to see this thing.
Royce has a 20th Anniv. He may be able to use some stuff for his....I know he has had issues with his head lights.
Yeah, um...probably wouldn't need the headlights from a junkyard car...*(I be havin enough o' those already on a shelf in my garage...Plan on using them to "play" and experiment with someday!) Thanks, though.
kitzdnm: One thing that might be good even from a junker...The ultrasuede covering the back seat may be in really good shape. (those back seats don't usually see too much use, you know.) If it really is a 20th, it will have a beige colored suede-like material on the seating surfaces. Front seats probably worn out (usually). If it is there, let me know what condition the material in the back looks like - I'm always interested in getting some of that stuff. Don't know if the yard will let you do this, but instead of the whole seat, if they would allow you to cut out just that material, then it would be easy to ship. Let me know, if you go back...Thanks.
Royce,I'm goin back this coming weekend, seats this week are 12 bucks,I just take the whole thing and strip it if its good.I really didn't look it over real well.I"ll take some pics.
jeez!!!! cant believe i forgot about that. on the bottom right corner (as you look at my driver's seat from the front of it) has a 1 inch dia. tear.
could ya get me some of that stuff too plz? :D
(royce i dont know if you wanted all of it, all i really need is maybe a 4-6 inch squared patch. but if thats the case you got there first so its yours). ive read on here about how hard the stuff is to come by, so i actually would like to have some of this stuff, cuz im gonna want to repair that someday.
What part of the seat cover are you needing? I have the inteior out of an Anny cat that is going to be thrown out.
is that directed at me or royce? again just keeping it first come first serve
ZondaC12; I figured that Royce got some from the other car so on to you.
i wanna say its called the "bolster"? if you were facing the front of the driver's seat and you looked down at the bottom right corner of the ultrasuede material. its in three sections. a 1 foot wide flat section and then on either side the two rounded sections i think are called "bolsters". am i right? i know on racing seats these actually wrap around you to keep you in place.
so i guess however much you think an average upholstery shop would need to redo that for me.
also, the bottom of the seat, the ultrasuede on bottom of the seat, where you actually sit, is a little worn away, kind of
"pilling", and just stretched out and floppy. so i guess if you wouldnt mind ill take that too. again i dont know much about uplostery, what they can and cant do. for instance with that side bolster area, if they would just need like a 3x3 inch patch to fix it or the whole length of that side to replace all of the material. if you know, just take off as much material as you think i need to do this, and name your price.
thanks a lot!
If it's that rare I'll make it a tapestry for my game room the color might even blend in.I"ll grab it if its worth it.No sense lettin it go to waste!,Specially if someone can use it.If it's worth it and not all shot to hell.Like I said I really didn't check it out.But I will.
yeah dude if its not a hassle to ya grab it anyway. you never know one of us 20th anny guys might need it in the future, or maybe years down the road if it becomes worth a lot due to its rarity youll be sitting on a real cash crop.
oh yeah and PICS of this thing! dont forget :D
man i need to come to catjam this year. i REALLY want to see another one of these cars.
You'll semine... It's not a cat though
well i definitely look forward to meeting you, your car, and everyone else for that matter! ive just never seen another 20th and it would just be really neat to see one.
however just being around all kinds of 80s cats and birds will be great itself. i NEVER see any around here. every once in a blue moon. and if its an 83-86, its a cougar not a tbird and its BEAT. never seen an 83-86 bird, and come to think of it, not an 87/88 either! let alone a TC!
now...convincing mom to let me take a 7 and change hour drive to O-friggin HIO. she doesnt know about catjam. ive never mentioned it. i cant imagine her reaction. actually yes...i can. same as every other crazy idea ive ever had. maybe someone from near NY will be going and i could meet up with them somewhere. we'll see.
Don't worry, Royce is sure to be there with his quarter-million mile 20th. And we used to have a big NY crew, but most of them have moved or gotten outta the fox scene. I think JohnnyCougar might show up this year in his '95 (I think). He's from the Long Island area I think.
Quarter-million mile? Roxanne's only at 188,000 right now....Maybe by Cat Jam: 2014 ;)
Oh it's close enough. 180... 250 you know.
Well I went back.Either it wasn't there, or I'm blind and it was a white special edition.
Well, that sucks. On a lighter note, whats was left of the SE?
I think it was a 91.
Bummer.

Oh, well - Thanks for offering, anyway! :D
