Title: so I want to swap in a 5spd in my new 88 xr7

so I want to swap to a t-5 in the 88 xr7 what should all of the parts cost me to purchase? will this hurt the value of the car by changing too a t-5?the car is pretty nice just needs some tlc.also if anyone has the parts to make the swap please e-mail me at truckcre8@comcast.net or you can call me at 612-203-2769 thanks

Time Parts and $$.Keepin it the original,You change anything,It's not.But you can make up for ford and do it the way it should of been.

These cars wont be worth much in a long time. Do what you want, dont worry about value now.

Tc's may have value in the future(being 87s car of the year and all)and the vert's,but i don't think the rest will.
Not even the 20th cougar unfortuatley.
But hey i devalued my Tc soon after i got it by doing the 5.0L swap,doesn't matter much to me due to the fact that my car has met it's final owner.
Bottom line,do what please you and not everyone else.

The only cars that will be worth much of anything are the low-mile, all-original ones, regardless of special editions and such, with very few exceptions.
