The Dart left the Sleeper compund tonight never to return... And in its place apeared a shiny mustang WTF was i thinking :toilet:

, dude, you go through cars/engines like crazy!  Just keep that TC!  The new hatch looks nice.  Probably sounds badass, too.

Yeah, I was secretly wanting to do some "real" racing in the dart this will be alot easier to replace if some unfortunate cirspoogestance arises. 

Its got a good sound to it pretty quick little car its going to the track saturday. And i have a nitrous kit sitting beside me awaiting installation ;)

Its Pretty nice....For a stang!  LOL  And if you ever get rid of the TC, I hope you sell it to one of us instead of trading it for some Mustang..... LOL ;)

Oh Thank God! At least it wasn't that POS SVO! This Mustang looks and sounds like a MUCH better deal. Go run some serious numbers with it! :D

I'm a "Ford" guy....but I wouldn't have traded for a Mustang...esp an aero Fox.... blech....:shakeass:

To be fair, this is more of a race car then just a "Mustang". I wouldn't have done it though, but then I have a spot in the garage just waiting for a musclecar and a 401 waiting to be stabbed into it.

He's got a VERY good point about something unfortunate happening at the track.  At those speeds you'll almost certainly total a car if you lose control.  A Mustang like that is a lot easier to replace than that old Dart.

That's kind of what I was thinking, though from a completely different point of view. ;)

Yes, I'm biased. I grew up drooling over my brothers' '68 Dart 2dr post.

I was at first wondering "WTF WERE YOU THINKING!!!???" but it is a very nice Stang and will be a much more reasonable car to race in.  I like the Dart more, but for your purposes, the Mustang is better suited.  Have fun!

Its kinda a long story, See when the bird sat for a year i sold the draglites on it. I didnt have anyother wheels for it. So when i got it running i put the 17's off the dodge on it, then When i got this mustang it left me without a set of wheels for the bird so here wqe are again playing wheel swap around.

I do have one 15x10 warrior for the bird so far :D

I had that same steering wheel in my car up until a week ago and got rid of it. It seemed too small for my liking, and with the TC rack it was a bit too "high effort" for my liking, so I installed a TC wheel.

i dont at all know what fox stangs are like. all i know is i LOVE the way they look. what dont other on here like about them? like vinnie for instance, who said he liked em til he got his tbird. im guessing our cars are just nicer to ride in??? but thats a given. a mustang isnt built to pamper your ass its meant to HAUL it!!! (quote stolen from Motor Trend magazine several years back re: the Dodge Viper)
