Ok, due to some new found knowlage, I have a few options when I repaint the car now. You know what to do, vote and let me know why you picked these colors. Also up are the white leather seats or Raven style leather seats with the Fila logo. Vote!!!

Also, anyone thats brave with freetime, feel free to photochop me a picture of these colors. The wheels going on it may be the painted 8 holes or I may hold out for 5 lug and some American Racing TTO's....

If you want original, then white is the way to go.I feel that a car is only original once, and that's when it comes off the assembly line.Paint it the color you want.Look at some paint books and look at all the colors.amazing.I'm getting rid of the py gold paint and going with a green matal flake we saw on a Ford Sport Trac. It'll look great with tinted windows and black trim. For your car,if I can only choose from the list above,I'd go with blue.Black is a hard color to get "right",and red, well,it's red.Start looking for new Fila badges and other little bits and pieces to finish it after the repaint.I went to Ford and ordered a new Thunderbird emblem for my trunk.I want everything new if at all possible.Take your time.Do the bodywork slowly.Do it right the first time.

IMOA the car looks good in the white.  Bule would also be a good choice, depending on the shade you choose.  If you go with a darker color. But hey, it's your car.

Wekkm all these colors are factory. and when she is painted, they will be done in a factory shade. I'm kind of leaning towards the colors it is now though.

I'd opt to redo it in its current colors, mainly to match the interior.  My 2 cents.  If only because not many FILA's are around these days.

Well, I've seen/heard of over 15 so far. I know theres more, it's just finding them. as for the colors, again, I have no clue how this works. In the book I got from mike, it has a white one. No mention of colors. Then again, there is no mention of a 5.0 and buttstuffog cluster either...

well those might be original colors, but they are not original to that one car, plus the door jams, under hood, and the rest under the interior isn't gonna match if its painted another color, just keep that in mind, it will not be original, in anything other then white and silver

Well, after dicking aroung under the hood and putting new headlights in it today, I found the mounting tabs on teh header panel are cracked. So I need a new one. That would have to be sprayed. Along with a new trunk lid and 1 maybe 2 new doors. If I'm doing all that work, I may as well do the car right for the factory colors. It seems it will stay white and silver.

good choice, because now if you ever put all the stock parts back on it will be 100% original or pretty  close

and these days, thanks to B&J, pretty close still nets a big chunk of change.  As for the mounting tabs, I've thought about either plastic welding them, or just using super glue, which is where my header panel is at right now.

I'll just use another header panel, probaly use the 85-86 grill cuz I like the look better, then keep all the factory stuff safe, as I have with teh wole car when I take stuff off

Buy my car for $1900 and you've got a perfect parts car, it even has some decent wheels on it.  Think about it before you lay out half that for a paint job...

Keep it original.  White baby.  Then it'll match the seats.

Mikey. If you send your Header to me, I'll repair it and paint it for you. All you would have to do is pay shipping and $15 for paint. Any color you want. At the Body shop we have some amazing plastic repair glue, I repair the console out of my daily with it, and the corner where I ran into it. Let me know, its a cheap and nice way to fix it.
