Will a Bullitt Suspension Kit work on my car? The answer is yes and no.
Springs - The front springs work great. Especially for a street car. I experienced very little rubbing issues with my 17x8s w/ 235 series tires. They lowered the front about 1" or so without isolators. The rears lowered the car about 1.5" with poly isolators. I would recommend using adjustable RLCAs (CHE or MM) or spacers (sold by Global West) to compensate.
Struts - You will need 11-inch brakes (SN-95, Fox... whatever) to install these. Also if you have the tall (single piece) strut mounts like I did, they need to be modified, replaced (with a two-piece) or caster/camber plates. That strut mount will not allow enough threads to pass through it. I opted for C/C Plates. They allow you to adjust how much for the strut passes through which is very helpful in this situation.
Shocks - For the record, I bolted mine in without problem. I drove it for months that way without noticing any ill effects. I will say that shock travel was not all that great on rebound and you have a couple options to remedy this. Flip your shock mounts (http://"http://foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=2617") or purchase Chuck W's shock mount adapters. I have done both... I prefer Chuck's mounts.
Swaybar - Only the rear can be used. Sell the front one.
The same will possibly apply to Mach 1 kits as well. The Tokico's are revalved for a firmer ride. AFAIK the spring rates are the same.
