Poll
Question: Good idea?  should we have a Mod Dictionary?

ok, well i kinda want this to turn into a one post (max 3 posts over 10 post period per project, excluding picture posts.)  like say you had someone smash a window, had/have to fix it yourself.  tell us all about it.  sure many people have been there with windows so one post on that subject will be good (per generation and model).  but this isnt limited to handy work, tell us about your custom interior, what you did, found could do but didnt, what was modified and how.  same with drivetrain/drivablility as well as tires and specific rim (specs).  you dont have to write a book, just dont hijack the thread.  this way, when someone thinks of something thats been done, they can see what they have to do instead of asking a snit load of mod questions.  plus i think it'd be great for the site and almost be a history book of how we mod our cars.  lets even include some fox mustang mods in here since although completely different, very similar.

whats the general mass opinion on something like this?

I think that's what pretty much everyone does anyway....

Not sure what you are trying to accomplish?

well instead of a forum of things thats hard to search for, just a thread of everything.  a dictionary.  *one thread*

And one long thread will be easier how?

Use the search function if you need to find anything....

Everyhting except paint and tailpipes,I do all of it by myself (a couple of buddies help with the manual labor).Today I swapped shocks, changed the heater core, removed some interior parts.Tan interior is going away, grey will be installed....by Me.same with bodywork.I'll do it,then have someone paint it for me.I also installed the Cobra R wheels today, fixed a vacuum line (i'll replace them all when it's not freezing). One step at a time until she's where I want her.

All of your poll answers are basically "yes".

I'm voting NO. We have a great search on this site, and the *major* items have stickied threads. We even have a thread on the "small stuff" stickied. This would be practically useless IMHO.

We've also got a "Greatest Hits" section, where all the sticky threads end up when they stop being active. In other words, it's already here.
