Title: What TFI can i use??

Do i have to use a tfi just for a turbo motor or can i use one from a 5.0?

Are talking abut the TFI Dizzy or the Coil?

The TFI on the dizzy is the same for all Fords. I have an aftermarket Dyno-Mod TFI on mine for a 5.0. Ford factory 2.3, 3.8, 5.0, and 5.8's all have the same module.

The 4cyl and 8 cyl are the same I do think the 6cyl are different. Atleast they seem to have different part numbers at work.

The only difference that v6 one has from the others is its interface to the pip.  External mount one just has the wires run in the big connector.

BUT

They are not interchangeable between Gray and Black modules.
