Title: 88 tc on collector car trader online
Post by: 5.0willgo on January 15, 2005, 10:41:54 AM
I came across this 88 turbo on collector car trader online. I don't care if it was John F. Kennedy Jr.'s car, I wouldn't pay $19,000 for a turbo bird with over 64,000 miles.

The owner of that car has been trying to sell it since 2000 or 2001.  The price keeps going up!

That's a joke, looks like a nice car and all but i think the guy added a zero by accident.Should be more like 1900us.
I got my 70000mile TC up here in canada for 2200cdn and that's only like 7000 miles difference so does that mean my TC is worth like 17000us :grinno: Sweet!

That guy must have failed economics 101. He has been trying to sell that car for years, including several ebay auctions, with no success. Instead of taking the hint that his price may be a wee bit high he goes ahead and raises it every timie he tries to sell it! Just think, in another few years that could be a million dollar T-Bird!

I'd be willing to bet he bought the car before JFK jr died... Probablly hoping he(jr) would make it big in politics. Wonder what it would be worth, if say he had been elected president one day??

Probably nothing, until 30 years after he became president
