Title: EEC swap questions
Post by: Crash225 on January 29, 2007, 08:42:04 PM
Hey guys. I've got a computer supposedly from a 93 tbird I'm using for an HO swap into my 87 cougar with an SO 5.0 . Its part no. is F3MF-12A650-AA and the program code is S3S. I'm having a hard time finding info about this EEC computer on the web. I know I'll have to get the accompanying MAF sensor and wiring harness adaptor but is it useable with my current SO wiring harness. By the way, I'm going to be running a '93 aod behind a '93 HO motor. Any help would be appreciated even if its just steering me in the right direction. Thanks

I forgot to mention that I'm going from speed density to Mass air, although you probably knew that!

Should be just fine, the connector will be exactly the same, however you will have to move some pins around.
Look in the tech section about doing the maf conversion for your wiring harness.

Thanks Dominator. I've seen articles on the MAF conversion but was concerned about any changes made during the change to the MN12 platform. I can sleep a little better now.
