Title: Vacuum line
Post by: mjk289 on January 27, 2007, 10:22:02 PM
I'm trying to find out where this vacuum line goes on my 88 Cougar. I have it capped off right now.  I think it goes to the a/c somewhere but I don't know.  I took a picture. It's next to the vacuum hose that goes to the heater.  Can anyone help me. Thanks, Mike.

If thats the same as mine, it went to a "vac canister?" Thats the right rear of the hood right

Thanks for the nice diagram.  I can't seem to find the fenderwell reservior though.  I'll have to take a closer look next weekend.  Is it something I need to get to from underneath the car or should I be able to see it from under the hood?

time to get dirty or,,, find someone with an arm small enough to reach up inside that big round hole in the pass side engine bay just forward of the pass strut tower.

Wasn't it nice of someone to take their fender off?

My vacuum canister (reservoir) is under the right front fender too...
