Tell Cougar 86_89,He has one I want to buy,but I still don't have the money, and I know he needs it.Tell him I sent you.I'll get another one some other time.My funds are tied up for now with sick kid, broke car,and other things that suck.

No worries. My project Sport hes thoe gauges already.I wanted a spre cluster to try to install a Mustang 140mph gauge into it.I'll come across one sometime.I'm patient.Like I said,he needs the money, and it's not fair for him to hold the parts that I want, not need, when someone else could use them.We gotta work together here.

vinnietbird, I installed a mustang 140mph speedometer in my 85 TC cluster. Only thing was that the speedo cable made it necessary to cut a piece of the ductwork out behind the cluster.

How much of the ducting had to be cut?Would it be posible to cit a hole throught the ducting, and install a plastic tube through the ducting (and seal it) for the cable to pass through?Just a thought. That's the plan I have.My other needs are more important on the car right now....paint,wheels and tires, and a few incidentals.

I'm sure you could sleeve it without any problems. Mine was close to the edge, so I just cut it down some and resealed it. Mine never moved in the winter and had no A/C, so I wasn't worried about airflow.
