ok well i need a hood and 2 front fenders as i've spoken about before. (i got my job so the project is getting planned) i know 87-88 cougar fenders are the same as 87-88 birds. and i know that an 86 hood will fit an 87-88. so that being said, would 83-86 fenders on either cougar or bird fit an 87-88 bird? i have a hunch they will but just askin.
i got possibly 5 birds to get these parts from, 2 84's, 2 86's, and an 87 at the pull a part in charlotte.
Yes the 83-86 fenders will bolt onto the 87-88 models. There is a difference in the fenders. The body line right by the trim is differenet. The only other difference is if the fenders have the light cut out in it.
