I like how the rest of the car now looks pink. :rollin:
I like the appliance white goof up, I don't know why? :hick:
I'd redo the car in that color.
I paint houses for a living and all I use I Sherwin Williams' products. On the last house, the homeowner and decorators brought something to my attention. One bedroom in the house, that was supposed to be painted a color that was unlike all the other colors in the house, looked exactly like the color in the great room. I compared it to another gallon next to it that had the same color number and had all the same colorants listed on the labels. The colors were clearly not the same so I had the designers questioning whether or not we painted the room the correct color. Apparently they (SW) must have matched an extra gallon in the great room color and labeled it with the bedroom paint sticker. Luckily it was only the first coat and the second gallon was right on so every thing came out OK save for using a little more that normal from the second gallon and not leaving much for touch-up. Anyways, we shoved that missmatched gallon in Sherwin's face and they refunded the purchase amount.
Oh, this thread is definitely not a slam agains S-W. They make great paint and I hear customer service is usually fantastic. I put the thread title in quotes because someone else said it. It was just nice to see one of our "old" cars in the spotlight for something, be it good or bad. ;)
I just think it is funny that it is a cougar that it happened too. It is kinda funny, I guess no one thinks our cars are anything special! lol
