i need a pic of the shifter cable connecting to the shifter arm on the tranny. Odd question but i think i ude the wrong bolt and adjusting it is difficult
The "bolt" is actually a press in stud that has a shoulder and threads. The fastener presses into a hard rubber grommet on the shift lever on the side of the tranny, then, the shift cable fits over the shoulder on the fastener,THEN,a nut goes on to hold the cable still. The end of the cable has a "slot" so it can be adjusted.Sorry,it frickin icy as and I am NOT going out there right now.LOL.
This is the only pic I have (someone else's), and it already has the connection circled, with an arrow to the grommet....
Second pic is a drawing showing stud 78415 going into bushing 7341.
