I was gonna name this thread 2 low 4 a fat ho... But anyway. :pics-stfu:
So here we go... Got some suspension work done yesterday. Took about 8 full hours but it is done. Enjoy the pics.
Starting out... Eibach Springs 2 inch drop, CHE uppers/lowers, Front and rear spring pads and isolators, New front rotors from Complete brake service in columbus, (5 lug, t-bird 10 inch) Found them from the coolcats site. New pads and stabilizer link kits, also...
heating up the bolts really made this too easy! Notice all the spring helpers in the old springs?
Where are the after pics? And where did you get the parts? Was it sold as a kit?
w00t
And here's a before and after of the front suspenion. Didn't take many pics in between because i was getting too tired.
Notice my home made blue and sliver jack stands... they can hold a semi if hey wanted too!
First pic is before.... The last two are after! Next on my list are new rear calipers... they come in on tuesday. And after that it's bodywork... and then PAINT! and then CATJAM! w00t!
I do need some different rims. 2003 Cobra R's probably. Right now i'm running a 225/75/15! The tires are huge and they fill up the wheel wells. I think i'll wait til it's painted before i put some nice rims on it. It feels so good to finally put some money into this beast. I've decided to save her because she has so much history, and just about everyone knows at least one story about her.
sheeit, I remember when it was blue
lookin good :D
Nice! i was going to ask you isnt the point of a 5 lug conersion to have 5 lugs? J/K but its looking great.
And I know them all!! :)
I'm soo happy for you John, and man does that thing have a nice stance now!
