Post by: blu84302 on January 12, 2007, 08:57:37 PM
Please help me out.  How do the CHE upper control arms mount?  Do they mount pointing down or up?  If you have pics please post one.  I tried to figure it out but i couldn't...  :punchballs:

Any help will be appriciated.

I don't understand what you're asking...

There's only one way the uppers can go on.

I could manage to get them on both ways.  _/  and  /--  (that's the best i could describe it)  I finally went with this way /--  but i'm thinking it's wrong because the rear end is REALLY low with weight on it.

thats how I installed mine and I havent had any problems.  seems like they would hit if your mounted them the other way with the suspension travel. if it wasnt so cold and icey I'd get a pic of mine installed.

well hopefully this thread will help the next person install them.  Because I sure could've used it.  I guess i got lucky with the guess because i made them fit the other way the first time.  So here's some tags for the search feature. let this post rest in peace.

The rear is really low with weight on it due to the springs you used.  The control arm installation has nothing to do with it.  YOu did install them correctly though.
