here are the pics of the location of the schrader valve on an MN12 fuel rail for Cougar SE

so it looks like you had to lengthen the fuel lines that poke through the hole in the engine bay?  Thats what i was hoping to avoid.

gotta remember Claude, mine was a 3.8L EFI, had a different location then the 5.0L's lines.  I dont know where yours runs through, but yours may not need to be lengthened.

It really isn't that bad or hard to do.  You SHOULD flare the ends of the steel line for added protection, but I just cut the lines and slipped the hose WAY up on the line and clamped it down REALLY tight.  I pulled on the hose as hard as I could and didn't budge it so I dont think it is going anywheres.  I might cut them back a little bit to get rid of some of the excess length later on.:cool:
