When I did my TC 5.0 swap about 5 or 6 years ago, I installed an autometer oil pressure gauge that I am now getting rid of (never even connected the stock oil pres gauge to the 5.0). I just put my new 140 TC cluster in, with my modded tach guts to work with the v8, and a brand new stock replacement 5.0 oil pres sending unit... but before I fire anything, I want to ask if I'm ok connecting the TC oil pres gauge straight to the 5.0 sending unit (I repinned at the firewall to connect the 5.0 oil pres wire to the wire going to the gauge cluster)... I'm assuming it'll be fine, just wanted to double check with somone. thanks!
No problem the gage is interested in the sender, not the engine... The '88 Sport and TC used same gages except for the different cal tach...
