Title: Closing our own threads?
Post by: Ether947 on December 28, 2006, 08:55:04 AM
I know they have this feature over on Corral and I was wondering if our version of this board has that ability as well. That way we don't have to bother you guys. :D

i suggested a long time ago that when you finally fix your problem with your car,, you go in your first thread and add the word "SOLVED" in the subject and update it.

example:

help, i have no spark "SOLVED"

this would be the first thing a person would see while searching for a thread about spark issues.  The person would then say to his or herself, humm ,, i wonder how this got solved so they open the thread and read.

in reality, no one seaches cause its work,,:grinno:

I think the solved idea is good, but how many people will do it?

I thought the search wasnt working? Whenever I need to find something I just google the site.

And quite a few people already do put *solved* in the titles

remember,, you have to add the word "solved" to the FIRST post.  otherwise it wont appear in the list of topics.
