Curious,anybody know if the mark vii rotor has the same hub center size(where the axle comes through the center) as the rear tc rotor???
I know the mark rotors won't work on a tc but if it has the same hub size i can use one as a template for drilling my stock axles and have the perfect lug centric spacing instead of trying to measure it out and screwing it up.
I can take a look at the Mk7/SVO rear axle in my 80 XR-7 and see if the center hub is the same as the 95 Cobra wheel that's on it... I think it's smaller.
A measurement would be nice for future reference. :cool:
SN95 = 70.5mm
Well, I'll get a measurement only if it stops raining....;)
I need it to be the same size as my stock TC axle hub as i am looking for a template to drill my axles to 5lug.
I guess i could probably use an areostar drum as well??
I will be removing the axles and studs then putting the axle straight up and down in a vice.
Then i will put the rotor/drum on and drill the holes using the mark brake rotor or areostar drum.
A quick look in the dark and rain shows it to be the same as the SN-95 stuff...so bigger.
So then an aerostar drum would be correct sizing???
Perhaps.
I know my old Ranger stuff was smaller, and they are the same as the Aerostar...so following that line of thinking, the Aerostar stuff should work.
