Title: 83 - 88 Aerobird racing links

I've been asked by my T-Bird club to write an article for our newsletter on aerobirds at the races. Anyone have good links with info on how the aerobirds did in the day at stock car, drag etc.? Trying to piece together info before I get down to writing. Found a couple on NASCAR but with limited material. Thanks.

at best i could supply some pictures of the thunderbirds they used for racing... other than that i cant help much

The aero-bird redesign in 87-88 is a lot of the reason for today’s restrictor plate racing at Daytona & Talladega.
