Post by: dominator on December 06, 2006, 10:09:30 AM
For the long winter's nap.
Drove her for the last time this season do to the fact that some idiot decided it would be smart to put salt down even though we have no snow.
O well few new mod's to come over the winter month's.
Who else hates putting their cars away every year for month's on end???:birdsmily:

I hate it. I put mine away from Nov. 1till April 1 and it sucks. It makes me feel good that I'm keeping it away from all the evil salt though. It sucks but if you want to keep the car from rotting you have to do it.

I miss mine too, it has been parked for over a month and a half already, even though right now it is at Murdoch Tire, in Port Colborne, getting the HO installed.  All I have left to do, is swap the computers, install a new belt, and fill all the fluids.  I will be driving it home next weekend, but then it is going away for the winter.:birdsmily:

Or live on the west coast. 19 years and only a couple inches long by about 1/2" of surface rust was formed on the bottom corners of my doors when prepping for paint last summer. Car's been in mid and lower Washington all its life - cars in yards around here are never really rusted, just beat to hell year round.
