Where on the 5.0 block is the engine cast/part number easily located so I can find out where this motor came from.

I'm thinking it's on the lower pasenger side of the block.

It will be behind the starter.    (E7TE)  etc.

Thankyou also just found that info in a book I have.
Didn’t check yet cause I have to jack the car up but for now I think I found what I was looking for.
