O.K.,there's not much of anything on these cars I haven't modified, rebuilt, swapped,or removed, but I've never actually had this problem before.I am bringing home my '88 Sport project car today, and it has no ignition key. What do you do to remove the tumbler without a key? You're supposed to have the key in the run position to push the pin in and pull the tumbler.....no key to get it in the run position.Any ideas would be great.Thanks.
Drill out the pin. (very carefully)
check out this link I've got a mini write up about it.

Well,I lucked out.I have no keys,BUT,the ignition is in the "run"position.Thank God !!! I didn't know that until I got the car home today. It seems as though the previous owner was driving it like that. The previous owner told the tow truck driver (who ended up owning it) that it overheated and they couldn't figure out why.It seems that one of the heater core hoses has a nice hole in it.I'll swap that out very soon.Anyway, back to the subject,I appreciate the help and the time you took to respond.ThunderChicken is going to set me up with a complete lock set.
