Title: street terminator/3500 stall???
Post by: dominator on November 21, 2006, 09:39:36 PM
Hey guys.
Got a few questions on weather or not i should use my 3500 stall convertor??
Currently running a 2400 stall in my fairly stock almost beat aod, what benifit/downfall will i get running my bracketmaster 3500stall in my street terminator??
Should i use it??
Should i have it retooled to lower the stall???
Is 3500 to high for a supercharged street car that runs 400+hp??
Will it heat up to much on the street under light cruise(don't see 3500 rpm in high gear unless i'm doing like 150+kph)??
I am running a trans cooler, maybe a small fan on it??
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks:chris

If it's a lockup you'll see absoutly NO difference in O/D and only a small difference in 3rd... But look out in 1st and 2nd, you're gonna need some sticky tires for traction....

If it's not a lockup, I'd install a huge cooler cause you'll need it... Probably a bit much for your application but...

If some is good and more is better... Then too much is just right....

If a converter wasnt heavy, and you wernt in canadia, id offer to buy the 2400 stall from you.
