And a few of my Ranger ?Sleeper? :pbb:
I see a bird hiding :birdsmily:
last pics for now
Sveet! But no header on the ranger?
just a factory late model header/manifold , im planning on building my equal length step header
That Dart is beautiful! What engine is that?
what mods on the ranger?

^darts cardomain
It may not be a big block but at least it aint a 318. Thinking about it, a 318 is "big" compared to our puny 5.0 engines. Hell, I wish I had 360ci in my T-bird!
A 4bbl on a 2.3?
Oh that Dart looks cool:cool:
NICE specs on the 360. Gotta be over 400 crank HP. Can't weigh much either, got any timeslips yet?
That ranger is a serious sleeper, how's she go?
Most seem to weigh 2,700-2,900 ish no time slips for the dart I really didnt get it to be a race car i just wanted something nice i could get in and go anywere.
The ranger im still doing some fine tuning on and have been fighting with a fuel pump that will not supply enough fuel to feed it after you wind it out hard. I hope to make some track passes friday. :pbb:
Cool car. I always liked the '67+ Darts. They look better with a super stock crossram Hemi though. ;) :D
I've always been a Mopar guy, always will be. I've had a '69 Super Bee 383/auto, a '66 Charger 383/auto, and now I have this '57 Plymouth 2dr wagon. I've got a '59 tall-deck 383 that can go in this thing, but I really don't want a big block in it - it's too rusty for any kind of power. It has a 289 Ford in it right now, I just need to get off my ass and do something with it.
You were asking about the 17" wheels on that bodystyle Ranger. Somewhere I've got pictures of my old '85 longbed with '95 Cobra wheels on it, they fit on the old truck just like on my new one. So I assume the 10.5s would work. That little pickup is a POS. :D Looks neat with the 4bbl carb on it...
Cool man the wagon is neat.
I am really more concerned with the width, im supposed to have this truck ready to be raced by saturday, I need to break out my mesuring tape to see if my 325/50's will fit it.
Thanks, It is supposed to be a sleeper ruffer the better:pbb:
i really like the air cleaner on the ranger... looks oddly familiar... other than the last car it was on could back up the words Cobra Jet :D
love the dart man.
changed the lid tonight to an Extreme K&N lid  Thanks
, I had no idea you could run a 4-bbl on a 2.3 What is it, like 350 CFM?
oooo, I love the Dart
I went from a 351 cfm motorcraft 2 brl to a 600 cfm carter to the current 750 cfm carter each time I noted a gain in power/rpm range. Technicly it is way way way over carbed but sometimes it is what isnt supposed to work that does work the best. Around town drivability is just like a new, fuel economy is good for a high compression motor and WOT is very nice:dunce:
new wheels on the ranger :pbb:
Ooo Jeep:pbb:
a POS that packs a punch.
love it man
yup and they had my favorite price FREE :shakeass:
Free is always good
:birdsmily:
:shakeass:
:pbb:
hahahaaa almost didnt recognise it without the hole in the hood
looks great man
:redxdance: :redxdance:
:grinno: and the donor :nkhk:
make you a pull behind trailer for the 87 if you come to the point of taking it to the junk yard
Ill take the wagon you have in the backround ;)
Primer with a red hood. Looks like my cars sister. :D
Wont look like this for long:beatyoass:
like the interior..
I am about to get it were I want it to be im trying to go for the look of the 05 stangs interior
looks good.. just need some more raven panels... the red is a tad bit overbearing
Your name says sleeper, but do YOU ever sleep? that bird went from being on jackstands to being a full fledged running car in what a week?
Keep up the good work.
Like what you're doing with the Bird. Keep it up! I'm a die hard Ford guy though, so the Dart doesn't do anything for me. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's a nice car that you can be proud of, it just doesn't trip my trigger.
i am going to clean it up and see how it all looks and go from there, yeah lol i do sleep and work a full time job also, and yeah it was running driving in a week. :nkhk: i worked real hard everything was changed from the complete wiring harness up, pedals, dash, heaterbox etc.:pbb:
I used to be a die hard ford guy, But I love em all now in the end there all just steel
I'm kinda opposite. I keep an open mind on cars. The dart is bitchin. I'd love to own one. The only real turnoff for me how nowadays, "most" cars are starting to look the same. Square with a 4 Cly; A 6 if your lucky. Anything Old school works for me. Sorry, thats off the subject. Awesome collection bro!!
That's going to look great finished!
Hey did you ever solve the fuel problem on the Ranger? I put a sump on my fuel tank, mounted a holley 'blue' pump just in front of the tank, and ran 3/8" line on my Pinto to keep from sucking the 600 2bbl dry.
Looking good!
Kinda sorta,The guy that has it now knows he needs a bigger fuel pump the one on it just wont keep up.
Second that. i was thinking dark kick panels too but i dont know might make it too dark with out enough red
I musta' missed that, sorry. I'm a ford guy too but, I love that Dart! I definatly wouldn't be ashamed of having it in my yard. To bad you got rid of the Ranger I was lookin' Forward to some 1/4 mile times, Guess I'll have to build one.
A close freind has the truck now so its not like it has gone forever im sure he will run it as i intended.:pbb:
BTW, how did you paint your car? Just a rattle can lo-gloss? I would like to do something similar, but I'm pretty much a n00b when it comes to body work.
