SAE weighed a 1987 5.0 'bird for rollover testing. It came in at ~3440 lbs. It is unknown what options that car had...but 3500 lbs is probably a good estimate for your car.

I've got a set of '88 sport wheels I can weigh. You can find out tire weights at The Tire Rack. A google search should come up with your current wheel weight.

I'd hazard a guess that your new tire/wheel set adds ~60 lbs to your curb weight.

I weighed my set of 8 holes.

Wheels weights are with caps, sans balancing weights, but with valve stem.
Code: [Select]

Wheel      lb  oz
  1        16 - 15
  2        16 - 13.5
  3        16 - 14.5
  4        17 -  0.0

Average  = 16.92 ± .01 lbs
The caps weigh 4.5 oz (.281 lbs)

My scale is accurate to .16oz or 0.1% of the reading, whichever is greater.
