ILL TRY AND KEP THIS CLEAN....
Ok so some of you may have figured out that I work at an auto parts store. we open at 9am on sunday morning, at 9:02am I delt with the fist moron of the day! and here comes the rant in 3.....2......1........
I am so f_ing tired of these f-ing people that don't know sh-t about there junky a$$ cars! they come in and eather expect me to diagnose there problem for free becouse the don't want to pay to get it fixed or expect me to know what a (real quoate from a black guy that came in one day) "the thingie that spins in the front" I'm sorry but I ont speek idiot! day in and day out these bottom feeders come in here and don't know what the hell there doing. most of these people should not be aloud to drive a car let alone work on one. we had a guy come in the other day wanting his money back becouse the brakes we sold him where making a scratching sound and clunking, then I told him he put it in backwards and had the metal side sing the rotor!! it scares me to know these people are on the same roads as me.
and by ten this morning I had already had 3 people come in looking for parts that didn't even know what size engine they had! how the f*+k do you work on a car and not know what mother f&*king motor it has F*_k!!!
Yes YES YES Yes. I feel your pain. I work at a parts store Too!!!! I deal with the same people. I Need and oil filter for an 03' dodge. Ok sir! What kind of dodge? Oh its a dodge truck. Ok sir what motor do you have. Its got a 6 cyclinder. Ok sir is that a 5.9 desiel? Hell I don't know all I know is its a 6. And I'm suposed to get this guy a filter?Almost nobody knows what size there engine is unless they are somone that comes to the store alot or does alot of autowork.
Also the other guy is the guy that has his wife/GF call. I can here them in the background telling her what to say. If it is so important they say what they say why don't they talk on the phone of them self?
Also I here you knowing what I know from people driving in to buy brake pads and they dove in there with only 1 side put together just so they can change there brakes in the parking lot. I also work at a auto parts store the opens at 9am on sun. Isn't that funny. Hang in there those are just some of the bad times but there are still many good times working at the parts store.
I'm going in for an interview at a parts store tomorow after work. So this is what i'm gettin my self into?

It has to be a step up from the restrant though. I had a party of 30 today and little kids suck. They destroy everything and I get blamed for it.

I have a guy that drives a dalorian and gets iritated that we don't stock parts for his car is store.

I worked at a Benz dealer for about 18 years and the only saving grace to them is they have money. Its amazing people that stupid have any amount of money. I now am self employed/semi retired and doing what I want when I want. Not bad for 38 years old.
The moneys not in sellin the parts... it's making them... I just got hired on as a maintance tech. in a plastics factory. BIG BIG money!
But seriously, i worked at an autohole too... right claude! :D anyway, make the best of it, it's a good referance and if you're smart you'll stay there for two years and then take your ASE certification test! It'll be worth it after you get those ribbons.

-LOL....i could quote 4bangen and ispd's post. i (we) see alot of the same things everyday also and we ONLY have to deal with ford parts!!!! lot of dealership people(office personnel, sales, MNGTMNT!!) think this is a gravy job. but ive never heard anyone want to came trade with me for a day.....
