Title: header help!!!

i called around to acouple places and they said you cant put headers on a lx 5.0 tbird because of different engine mounts. how can i get my headers on?

Bs. I have stock Stang shorty headers on mine and they fit fine. Other people have aftermarket headers on as well. Headers wil fit.

i just got a estimate, and it is going to cost $1125 to install headers get a borla xpipe 2.5 tubing, and the 3" tips

Put the exhaust on yoursef and save a ton!  It's not a hard job.

I have stang headers on my bird as well.  No issues.

Holy  :eek: ! I had a guy bend a custom 2.25 dual exhaust for $400. If I had wanted 2.5 it would have been $450, and that's with cats!

The only issue I had was the tab on the drivers side motor mount. I just had to bend it outward a bit. Otherwise the factory Mustang headers and H-pipe fit perfect.

well, im pretty sure stock mustang headers stick father out then mine, so i should be safe with that... i hope.
