My T-Bird is an '88 model.I'm getting ready to install an H.O. 302 from a Lincoln Mark VII LSC after the engine has had a little work done to it.  http://www.cardomain.com/memberspage/293058  I hope you like it.It was painted 2 years ago.After the engine change,I'd like to do some other changes to it.I plan on adding a shaker hoodscoop,like the Mach 1 last year,different wheels,and a 5 lug upgrade.I got the complete Mark VII for $400,so every part I need is right there....except new gaskets,seals,....you know.

 Very nice car, I really like the turbines and that exhaust is just awesome.

Thanks 1986Tbird and MDJ1281.Hey Sly1990,how much horsepower do your stick on scoops add?Maybe if you added some of those stickers that the tuners use,you could get that car into the 12's.I hear those stickers add as much power as those scoops.

There is the heart of the whole thing.A 1969 302 with a high perfofmance cam,true dual exhaust with acrossover pipe,no converters.The sound is really aggresive.Within a few weeks,I hope to have the A/C eliminator kit on,then,no more useless,broken A/C compressor.The chrome valve covers are also on the list.They won't help it go any faster,but they'll look good just sitting there shining.
Then maybe you can add a 3rd set of fog lights to go a little faster.

So be nice, I dont want to say stuff like that.

I dont think he understood that tbirdscott wasnt being an ass or anything. Maybe hes new to online forums? I guiess "this thread is worthless without pics" can be taken the wrong way if you have never seen it before. Lets not let this get outta hand.

I was just wondering how he can make fun of sly's hood scoops with a gas flap like that. Its like me (1980 tbird) calling your cars (83-88) 'boats' or 'land yachts' :brick:

I'm gathering parts for the next engine swap.Seals,gaskets,hoses,etc.Now all I need is a shifter cable from a floor shifted Cougaror T-Bird.I'm beginning to think that they're made from unobtanium.

It's easy to take things the wrong way when you can hear the tone of voice or see the fascial expression.

Thanks.No disrespect meant to anyone.Anyway.I've been watching E-Bay for parts.I'd like to get a Ford Explorer GT-40 intake,and a few more items.I'm being patient,and watching the budget.I really don't need much,just a couple of pieces for a few extra horses.Know what I mean?
