Title: I crossed over to the darkside.
Post by: slamedcat on October 27, 2006, 11:44:09 PM
And no they didn't have milk or cookies waiting for me. But what they did have was a 96 MN12 Bird. Sonic Blue Metalic, custom exhaust, premium radio, climate control, power every thing and it has the 4.6. Only thing I'm missing is the sun roof.

Nice Thunderbird!
How many miles does it have? Has the intake manifold been replaced yet?

Yes that place that we don't like to speak of that resting place.

It will probably turned into soda cans. I didn't want to do it but I have to. Dad said it had to go and his house is the only place I can store things. It will be there with my 86 and 91 Mark VII also.

And the more I think about it the Cougar may get sold too.

I have the stock intake manifold from my '96 sitting around. It never cracked and it has 53k miles on it.
You could have it cheap if you wanted some extra insurance.

Well if the bird goes to the yard. I will yank the fenders and doors. Since the glass is still in the clips and neither the fenders or doors have rust on them. So when you get money let me know other wise they will be sold with the cougar.

How cheap is cheap? And what would be the shipping on that to 61523?

No realy its been sitting with a blown trans for about 4 years now. I'm going to strip it of every thing its worth then send the , dare I say it, rust free shell to the yard. You may be interested in the one set of doors I have laying around. They have vent windows.

I wouldn't say they were fugly but the whole triangle window thing does look strange to me.

I want somebody to have the manifold as a back-up in case their's cracks.
How does $30 shipped sound?
