Title: Broke into 11's on last day of season!
Post by: Cougar5.0 on October 27, 2006, 10:34:55 PM
It was now or never for the 11's so I decided to hit the thing as hard as it took to bust into the 11's. I was psyched when I got this slip back tonight:

60' - 1.613

1/8 - 7.714 @ 89.5 MPH

1/4 - 11.962 @ 118 MPH

Happiness is an 11 second time slip

If there was a "Sleeper of the Year" award your Cat would win hands down. I almost feel sorry for the unsuspecting roaming the streets of New Hampshire... almost. :grinno:

I was surprised when I looked at the data log & saw that I launched at 5000 RPM! No wonder I felt so much front-end lift (the car dead-hooked)!

We'll have to meet up at the track sometime next year...

You'll be in the 12's with decent tires with your MPH...

Got the TC auto rear (3.73's) with an electronic locking rear & 31 spline axles.

I am dataloging with a TwEECer R/T.

Would that be a Elec version of the Airlocker?

How well do you like the Tweecer?

Nice times man. What tires you running and suspension setup? That are some decent 60ft times.

The locker is an Eaton E-locker - http://reiderracing.com/elocker.htm

Love the TwEECer - let's me tune 'till my hearts content :D

I am running 275/50/15 M/T street radials and CHE upper & lower control arms. Full length MM subframes & I removed the front sway bar.

I'm not surprised.

Most tires actually like it when power and weight are pushed on them at the same time.  ;)

Still a lil slow in the eighth for that mph - and especially for that 60'!! - but that is awesome progress.  You'll be deep 11s for next season with a few minor tweaks.  Congrats to you man!
