well, i was looking around for a 60mm mustang throttle body. and i asked a guy at a junk yard if they had any and the guy told me that it wasnt called a throttle body. he said it was called a blade and fuel injectors go into to it. then i asked why everybody else calls them throttle bodies. and he said that they like giving false information..
but this this stupid said that fuel injecstors go into the " blade" (throttle body) on on a EFI 5.0. haha i just walked away.
WoW, peoples stupidity is amazing at times. Reminds me of welder boy at work
haha yeah, i agree
Don't all you guys know? That's how the EEC 'cuts' the fuel at the rev limit. With the BLADE.
ok, but he said 5.0 dont have throttle bodies.
ifixya was being sarcastic.
*Sigh*
:brick:
Depends on what year 5.0. They had blades with fuel injectors in them. AKA Central Fuel Injection, or CIF.
yeah, but i told him 87-93. so if he was a good mech. he should have known. wasnt CFI in the mid 80's
AFAIK, 86 Stangs had the sefi as well...the Capri did, it was an '86..
he was probaby f-ing w/ you
Mid 80's...yes it was...for 5.0's...it was in 85
Youre at a junkyard...do you think any of those guys are good mechanics? Junkyard is worse than a parts store for *skilled* labor
haha, this guy was for real. he wasnt kidding.....
