Title: Rims for sale
Post by: Sumthin Nuu on September 24, 2006, 01:22:27 PM
I have a few diffrent sets of wheels for sale here. All of them are nice straight, true wheels, no bent or hooked up junk here.

Set of 87-8 Cougar XR7 "Turbine" wheels with the correct Cougar centercaps wiht just ok (about 40% left) tires.  $160

Set of 85-6 TurboCoupe "10-holes" with the correct T-bird centercaps and nice (about 80% left) tires.  $200

Pair of 87-8 TurboCoupe "Snowflakes" with the centercaps and ok (about 40% left) tires.  $50

Set of 91-3 Mustang "Ponys" with centercaps and almost new tires, factory silver finish still in nice shape too and 2 extra like new centercaps for spares.  $300

Set of 93-only "Ponys" in chrome with centercaps and nice (about 80% left) tires $400

All of the above listed wheels are 4-lug Fox so they'll fit 88-older  Fox Tbirds/Cougars as well as Mustangs/Capris, Zephyrs, Fairmonts etc.

I might be interested in the turbines.

What size tires are on them?  What brand/model of tires?  I guess probably important as well . .  how even/uneven is the wear? (NJ inspection stations can sometimes be remarkably buttstuff/hostile)

And, probably more importantly, what shipping method do you use, and how much to ship to 08081 (new jersey)?

I'd be interested in the turbines. Where you located?

EDIT: Nevermind. Just saw your location and I'm not gonna drive all the way down there to pick 'em up. ;)

King and Cougar, I'd probably use Fed Ex or DHL but complete wheel/tires combos are VERY expensive to ship as you can imagine. The cost would probably not be far from what the rims themselves cost. Usually, he only way to make something like this work is if you or someone u know is already coming down to Fl anyways with a pickup or van, im in N Fl not far from the Georgia border so if u can arrange something I'll do what I can to help.

Yikes!  Ho'kay then, I guess that's going to be a bit on the impractical side!

Alas, I don't know anyone who's going to be down that way anytime soon.

Thanks for the info/update, though.

Ok I also have a set of the 5 lug LSC Mark 7 wheels made by BBS with almost new 225/60/16 Goodyear tires all around. The wheels have the polished lip with anthracite centers. No damage to any of the wheels, no curbrash, nothing. Centercaps are included. The  on them are Goodyear Eagle RSA PLus and are like new. Sell the set of 4 for $350, I'm not going to take them apart to ship, sorry.
