I have a 87 Bird with the stupid armrest center of the seat deal. Years ago I had a 83 Bird which had an actual center console that ran to the base of the dash. Curious if that type of deal will fit in the 87. If it will or wont any info would be appreciated. Also if you happen to have one let me know. Interior is that god awfull red but would consider any color. Thanks:birdsmily:

I may be able to get you one. I know for sure I can get a grey one.. but I'm thinking I know where there is a red one as well.

I assume you have the consolette, then? You may have to swap some seats to make a full console work. It's the perfect time to get some Sport/TC/XR-7 seats in there.

Swapping seats would be fine, whats there now is a tad better than a park bench

My car started like yours.I swapped in a factory console,floor shifter,and I just bought a set of Turbo-Coupe seats (front and back,raven color,for $250.00).Those seats will make a huge difference.

got one for you in that ugly red. real good shape still need it? was goiong to be painted and go in my car, but if money is right

Cougar 86, thanks but I got one in red complete for 20 bucks. As of now I just cut the consolette off the seat and will search for better seats. Thanks again though
