I've heard from people how to do this with Mustangs and now Tbirds. But I Have never seen any pics of how it's done. You're supposed to cut the side with a dremel and then pull the amber reflector out. But how do you slide it out the very thin cut from the dremel? How large of a "cut" do I need to make?
Any photos of the process anywhere?
actually, i just pryed mine apart.. the glue isnt very stong after 18 or so years and it kinda just popped out... and if you do pop it apart.. clothespins work great for lodin them together
Anyone else have any experience?
I pulled mine apart carfully using a exacto knife, i used some automotive goop to reattach the base/lens together after i removed the amber slide. Still havent put them on, I probably am going to end up buying some clear turn signal lamps that light up amber. . . if i can find some.
