Title: Digital dash ?
Post by: Dansbirds on September 16, 2006, 05:50:54 PM
I have recently aquired a 87 with the digital dash, under the speedo and to the rt is a light saying service. Car needed exhaust and passed it off as a check engine/service light. Replaced the exhaust and just noticed there is a seperate check engine light in the lower portion of the dash. My ? therefore is what is the service light and how do I get rid of it. :birdsmily:

It's a reminder to change the oil. Comes on after a certain mileage, and stays on for the first couple of miles of driving. Hold down the Trip and Trip Reset buttons until the dash beeps a couple of times and the light goes out.
