Title: TC ammeter, revisited! (Tom, look inside)
Post by: joefriday on December 29, 2004, 02:27:25 AM
Okay Tom, I've got a favor:  I need you to look at one of your stock turbo coupes and tell me if the alternator's regulator connector contains the white/black wire that runs to the alt's spade connector (non-hitachi alternator).  In the EVTMs it doesn't show this wire, and I can't remember for the life of me wether they had it or not.  I'm hooking up the shunt ammeter (putting the bird back together, finally).  :ies:

All I have are 88's with the "ferin" alt. But to be best of my knowledge, my 5.0 TC had the wire in the harness but was not connected. I wired in a 2G when I did the swap and it worked with no prob. Did the 3G upgrade last year, and its been working great.
