Hi all
new guy here but not with fords
Im known on turboford.net and rangerpowersports.com, have a 2.3t'd ranger and an 88 tbird turbocoupe sans engine
lil backround: truck was my dads bought brand new from the dealer lot, got it when i turned 16 (im 21 now) and started modding it immediately, started out going for the lowered show stuff, then fell in love with the 2.3T and found out how to do a swap and from there the story keeps going
the bird (the reason why im here) is an 88, was saved by me from a member on turboford who was trying to sell it before having to part it out, its a gem (to me), relatively no rust, interior is in good shape, and appears to be never wrecked, black exterior with the infamous porno red interior, fully loaded but with cloth seats
i look forward to spending some time here and learning about my lil bird
i plan to do a 5 lug swap and drop another built 2.3T into it
Matt

Raven is a black color.....

nice ride & welcome aboard.
Hola
whoops, didnt even mean to put raven in there... fixed, i was typing and talking on the phone at the same time
Welcome aboard
Your ranger is tits.
i dont think i have ever seen an engine shot of the truck. probly jus me not payin attention....that charge pipe from the turbo to the IC sure looks familiar:shakeass:
Nice Ranger, welcome!
Are you planning to put some fogs in those gaping holes in the lower valance? It'd be a nice touch...
I didn't even think a turbo in the stock location would fit in a ranger, I thought you had to flip the manifold?
5.0, i just bought some fogs for the truck, i just need to fab up some brackets now, being a 2 wheel drive truck i dont have stock fog brackets so i never got around to doing that, im trying to work on putting the finishing touches on the little stuff like that before i go any farther with the engine
Red_LX, your right, with the heater or heat/AC box a stock mounted turbo will not fit, but my box is completely removed, though you can modify the heater only box to fit....
speaking of which, anyone happen to maybe have a spare GenIII ranger heater box????
thanks for the compliments guys
Looks pretty good man, welcome to the board!
