Nice shots, dude.
i like the one where its coming out of the tall grass...it makes it look like a wild animal
In light of Steve Irwin, I couldn't help thinking "Crickey, look at this little fella" in regards to the tall grass picture.
I actually thought the same thing.
awesome pics shawn
keep it up
Other than the tires should point away from the camera I like it...
Poor steve irwin =:( but nice shots =:)..i'm going to try to get some more soon too.
So you haven't washed your car in over a month?!
3rd one is best.
Shawn read a little bit about the rule of thirds. It will change the way you take pictures...
Not that your doing bad or anything...
Want to know something funny? I took a year of photography in highschool, and a personal friend of mine is a professional photographer. You dont use the rule of thirds in every picture, its just a general rule to follow for a certain effect.
Maybe you should do some reading on the rule of thirds, because it appears that the first and last picture follow the rule of thirds to the T, and the second picture has the car 1/3 of the way from the top of the picture, not in center.
I guess everyone knows more about photography than I do.
Whats that rule mean? :sorry:
I'm lost too.
heh, i still say your dad needs to buy you a new door.. afterall wasnt he the one who ran into it?
The rule of thirds is a rule of placement in photography.

Hell...he gave me 20 bucks. That was him thinking he was buying me a door.
maybe a hinge not the door...
kick his t/a door and give him $20 :grinno:
I see the effect... but it always seems you are too far away from the shot. All the pictures could be improved if you were to just move in a bit.
And trust me, I know the rule of thirds...
hey, i know the rule of thirds also.....
my cougar in a third as clean...
my cougar is a third as fast....
my cougar is a third less money...
rule of thirds..... easy :pbb:
Lets see...
pic 1
-pole along right rule of 3rds
-car in the lower right rule of 3rds
-leading lines produced by the yellow curb
-repetition with the car angle and covered walkway angle
-despite some minor lense distortion, your verticles are verticle.- no crooked frame job here.
pic 2
much the same as 1
pic 3
-dynamic angle for dramatic feel <- Nice
-leading lines in grass and weeds
pic4
-leading lines from dirt road
-car along left rule of 3rds
Nothing really wrong with your pics Shawn...
