Title: 1987 Cougar shift cable

Looking for a shift cable for and '87 Cougar XR7 with 5.0 L and Automatic w\OD transmition. It is the cable that goes from the floor shifter to the transmition. Called local dealer and part was discontinued this past October!!!! :mad:

those are very difficult to find, and hard to separate from the shifter when you do

i have heard rumors that a stang shifter and cable will work if you cannot find the XR7 one
